As a smaller sign shop owner myself, I had a quick need for an aerial lift, to complete a project. Fast Signs owner, Russell Hall, sent his lift and a spectacular employee to assist me, thus my project was completed and my client happy.

I just wanted to share with you in hopes that you’ll pass this along to the store manager as well as the employee. I was greeted by a young man with blonde hair and I believe he said his name was Brenton. He greeted me with a smile and handshake. I let him know what I was picking up and he found my order pretty quickly. It was raining outside and I had an umbrella, but he offered to help me with the signs. I told him not to worry with it as I was already wet, and grabbed the most of the signs (needing to come back in for a second trip). As I was out at my car in the rain, hah, I turned around and there Brenton was with the rest of my signs. I did feel bad that it was raining, but he said it was no problem, put the rest in my trunk, and shook my hand again before going back inside.
I am a HUGE proponent of customer service, and it’s extremely important for me with the teams I supervise. I think a lot of businesses have lost sight of customer service in how I interact with businesses personally as a customer on most occasions. How Brenton treated me is pretty spot on with how we train our teams to treat and tend to our customers. It was nice to see some great customer service, and I just wanted you guys to know how much I appreciated that short interaction with Brenton. I’ve let my other Syracuse property know that if signs are needed in the future, you guys are our go-to place.
Please share with your managers and with Brenton how much the small customer service gestures really do matter. And give him a pat on the back for me!
